Jallianwala Bagh:- Jallianwala Bagh has found exceptional place in Indian history because of the bloody and cowardly act of General Dyer in 1919 before the nation became independent. He ordered his forces for the massacre of innocent civilians that gathered there on baisakhi day. This act was highly criticized including in British administrative circles and General Dyer was relieved from active service. Today, the memorial is visited by tourists who want to get the closer glimpse of what happened there decades ago.
